Photoshop’s blend modes are widely used for creative effects, but there’s a lot of capability for image correction and enhancement as well. Most intermediate users are familiar with using Multiply, Screen, Overlay, and Soft Light. These are great options for many situations, but there are others that offer some additional ability.
I always like having multiple ways to tackle a problem, and understanding blend modes keeps things flexible for any situation.
