Much of Wednesday was a blur for me at PhotoshopWorld Las Vegas. I only got to sit in on one class (Corey Barker’s 3D intro), and took a whirlwind spin around the Expo floor. But I did get to spend some quality time with a few of the cooler folks in attendance, including Grant Friedman from psdtuts, Patrick Smith from onOne, Jim Tierney (Chief Executive Anarchist) from Digital Anarchy, and the most dedicated Facebook crew I’ve ever encountered.
The keynote yesterday was entertaining, and Adobe rolled out Carousel to the world (which left more questions than answers), and there was a lot of running around to meet people and see things. Last night, I attended the Peachpit author’s party and got to mix with some of my heroes. Among them, Matt Kloskowski and Dan Margulis. The food was great and the alcohol free. Schweet.
If you’re at Photoshop World, look me up and get a card with a QR code and find the secret page (it’s not really hidden that well – but you’ll have to go looking!). There you’ll find some offers I managed to wrangle for attendees, including the custom script for Photoshop I mentioned previously.
Oh, ok… here’s a hint: Check out ‘Site Features’ from the top menu 🙂
