Photoshop World 2010
Well, I didn’t get to go this year, but I hope to hit the Spring show. If you are there this year, take advantage of some key opportunities to meet the movers and shakers of the awesomeness that is Photoshop. Among them will be John Nack talking up tablets (both Wacom and iPad flavors), which should be a very cool way to glimpse the future of tablet/pad work flows.
Look HereThis is some inset text that I wanted to try out.
Also check out the various publishers, including Peachpit and Focal, both of which have some excellent titles out this year. I believe Photoshop product manager Zorana Gee will also be there, so you might be able to get her to sign her new book! If you haven’t seen it yet, head over to Amazon and read my review. The short version? If you are at all interested in 3D in Photoshop, get it.
There are always great booths in the expo area, but don’t miss out on the tracks. If you are lucky enough to be able to recognize faces in crowds (I suck at this) keep scanning the area for Terry White, Katrin Eismann (one of my all-time PS heroes), and Corey Barker of PlanetPhotoshop, all of which have been seen cruising through halls and classes when they aren’t up on stage. I ran into the amazing Russel Brown on the way to a session, and he dumped a few CDs on me. Good stuff!
If you go, let me know what you think of the whole experience, and what you were looking for if it was your first time. With any luck, I’ll get back in the Spring and we can talk ‘Shop over a beer 🙂
